The School Day

To help the school run as smoothly as possible the blue gates open at 8.35am. Children and their parents and carers come in through the blue gate and drop off by the bike shed. Children then go straight into their classrooms where school adults are ready to welcome them.

If adults have messages to pass on in the morning, they can talk to Mrs Talbot on the gate or pop into the school office who will take a message and pass it on to the relevant staff.

At the end of the day the blue gates are opened at 3.10pm ready for collection at 3.15pm.

HEY, YR, KS1 (Years One and Two) and LKS2 ( Years Three and Four) children must be collected by an adult over the age of 16 years old.

Children in UKS2 (Years Five and Six) may leave school without an adult if parents and carers have given permission via the Google form.  This can be updated at any point during the year via the school office.

Children may bring bikes and scooters to school – once they come through the blue gates they must be walked to the bike shed. The school site is locked and so they are safe until they are collected at the end of the day. Children attending breakfast club and after school club may also bring in bikes and scooters and store them in the bike shed.

  • Breakfast club opens: 7.45am
  • Gates open: 8.35am
  • School starts (gates locked): 8.45am
  • Lunchtime: 12.30pm
  • End of School day: 3.15pm

After school club closes: Monday – Thursday 6:00pm, Friday 5:00pm
