The children in Y6 are expected to read every day. It is still helpful to Y6 children to read to an adult and talk about what they are reading. We also expect children to practice their spellings and times tables each week.

If you child does any learning at home that they would like to bring in then they may.

COMPUTING KS2
  • Code.org – https://code.org/ (This is a website with loads of great resources. The Hour of Code activities offer step by step lessons on how to block code and give the children a certificate at the end of their session.)
  • Scratch – https://scratch.mit.edu/ (The children can create their own accounts for free and then they can save the work they do online. We use this programme in school.)
